Sessions

In person or online

For family work I'd usually suggest starting in person where possible, it's easier to notice how a family interacts when everyone's in the same room. But school, work, and travel don't always allow it, so online and combined arrangements are welcome. For individual work, online is just as effective.

Online

By secure video

Online sessions make therapy easier to fit around school, work and home, no travel, and the same warmth and attentiveness as meeting in the room.

You will need

  • A neutral, private, quiet space where we won't be interrupted
  • A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera
  • A reasonably stable internet connection
In person

Meeting in the same room

A calm, private room, the same place each week, can make it easier to settle, to trust, and to do the work at a gentle pace. In-person sessions are particularly helpful for family therapy, providing a neutral, safe space. We can meet as a family and combine with some individual sessions, depending on what feels most helpful.

Good to know

  • Sessions are held in a private, accessible therapy room
  • Parents and carers can be involved where it helps
  • You can switch to online later if travel becomes difficult
Not sure which is right?

"That's completely fine, we can talk it through together. A combination of the two is one option."

Session length and frequency are confirmed when we first speak. In-person sessions are available across London and Greater London.

Fees

Talking about cost

Fees are discussed at the first call, with a small number of lower-cost spaces available.
