Support that meets a young person where they are
I offer age-attuned therapy for children and young people facing emotional, behavioural or relational difficulties. The work is warm and safe, and always mindful of the bigger picture; their family, their friendships and the world around them.
If you're a parent, you're not expected to have all the answers; we'll work together, and you'll be part of the process.
And if you're a young person, you don't have to have the words for everything; we'll work it out together.
Areas I often work with
A space to feel heard and understood
Growing up can be hard, and what a young person struggles with is rarely theirs alone to carry. I work systemically which means looking at a young person not in isolation, but within the relationships and world around them: family, school, friendships and beyond.
Sessions move at a gentle pace, led by the young person and whatever they choose to bring. There's no pressure and no judgement, just a calm, thoughtful space to make sense of things together.
What to expect
A first conversation
We can start with a free 15-minute phone call. This is a chance for me to introduce myself and my approach, and for you to see whether I feel like the right therapist for you or your child. From there, we can arrange an initial session to talk through what's brought you here.
Working together
We meet at a regular weekly time for 60 minutes, just us.
If it helps, we can invite your parents/carers/other family member too.
Let's talk about what would help your school
I offer a no-obligation call or meeting to introduce myself and understand where your pupils and pastoral team need support.
Or call me directly on 07976 872916
Not sure if this is the right step?
You're welcome to get in touch with any questions, or to arrange a first conversation for you, or for your child. You can start with a free 15-minute phone call, with no obligation: just a chance to ask anything and see whether working together feels right.
